Mimicry Slime

Overview[]

The Mimicry Slime is an activated relic which activates a random activated relic's effects when consumed.

As of update v1.10, this relic has gained a recharge time statistic which allows it to be consumed again after filling its required charge amount.

While this relic says in its in-game description that it will activate a "random relic's effect," this isn't necessarily true as this relic will choose a random relic's effect from a set list of relics as shown below:

Interactions[]

The Matt's Ball relic will double the effects of the randomly chosen relic's effect that are or can be affected.
Single-use activated relics such as Gesture of the Bane will not destroy this relic when chosen as the random effect.
Certain relic's which grants the player Wand Statistics such as the Power Stew relic, will override the player's current Wand Statistics when activated.
This relic's effect can be used to potentially farm emblems from the effects of the Emblem relic.
This relic's effect can be used to remove certain bane curses applied to the player via the Gesture of the Bane relic.

Additional Notes[]

When using this relic, passive relics are not chosen in the list of random relic effects.
This relic's recharge time will always remain 2 waves, regardless of what relic's effect was used.
Once this relic is unlocked on the player's save file, Mimic enemies, which are occasionally spawned from chests, will have a chance to drop this relic when opened.
This relic's effect will also grab the effects from activated relics the player may not have unlocked on their save file yet, (With examples such as the Pandora's Box or Voodoo Doll). Relics that were activated this way by this relic's effect will not unlock their Progress Journal log.
