Overview

Relics play a secondary role in player's runs beside spells- though relatively harder to obtain, they can have extremely beneficial effects. Relics can come in both consumables and passive items which can be purchased from the Holy Mountain. Relics spawn on top of an Offering Pedestal and cost 50 shillings to purchase.

Certain relics have a one-time / rechargeable use (which can be activated by pressing F- or your offhand keybind) that can drastically affect both the player and creatures. Other relics are passive and will automatically apply their effect when inside the player's spell slots.

The only other ways the player can obtain relics without visiting the Holy Mountains is by finding them in chests, Wave Rewards, or even in secret rooms. Additionally, if the player procs the Impressed Ancestor event, there's a small chance that a random relic will be rewarded instead of a chest.

There are currently 67 different relics that can appear throughout the player's runs. It is also worth mentioning that only a single relic can spawn on the Offering Pedestal at a time.
