Flasks are throwable potion bottles that contain a random assortment of magical liquids. Throwing a flask will break open the bottle and create a medium-sized pool of liquid which usually lasts for 20 seconds.

Upon starting a new run, the player is given a random flask that is rolled from the Basic loottable.

The only way to obtain a multitude of alchemic flasks is by purchasing them from a Flask Booth in the Spell Shop, chests, and Wave Rewards.

Flasks can also be saved and reforged at the Anvil of Destiny found within the Holy Mountain. Reforging a flask will turn it into a spell which shares similarities and characteristics with the reforged flask.
