Overview[]
The Corrupted Data is an activated relic which causes the player to convert a random spell in their inventory into a glitched spell, as well as randomizing all the player's Wand Statistics, as well as randomizing the player's misc. statistics (max health, movement speed, and melee damage), when used.
As of update v1.10, this relic has gained a recharge time statistic which allows it to be consumed again after filling its required charge amount.
Interactions[]
- The Charged Coin relic will allow the player to potentially activate this relic twice during a wave when picking up shillings.
- Zodiac spells will override this relic's effects at the start of a new wave.
- Spells which apply the strength buff to the player such as Critical Tempo and Screw Magic spell will stack their melee damage over the newly rerolled base melee damage.
- Using this relic's effect to reroll the player's Wand Statistics can allow the player to bypass hard-coded stat caps from affinities such as the Monarch affinity.
Additional Notes[]
- Glitched spells that are created from this relic's effects will inherit spells mostly from the Projectile Modifier type.
- Finding this relic early into a run can be extremely powerful in giving the player a head start to their Wand Statistic upgrades.
Trivia[]
- The relic's name 'Corrupted Data,' is a reference to an incident involving leaks being spread online about the Tabletop Simulator version of TOTA. In which some users were able to view early concepts for upcoming relics before they were fully released to the public.
- Within the game files, the use-function for this relic contains a string of numbers that when translated, congratulates the curiosity of the player viewing it.
