A large variety of creatures can be found within the mage academy in TOTA. Some enemies carry their own unique properties and attacks that make it harder for the player's survival. Learning how to fight against each enemy will help you traverse deeper into the academy. Killing an enemy for the first time will unlock some minor information in the player's in-game bestiary (mainly for adding towards completion).

The Relentless faction consists of a small amount of enemies which are immune to most spells and damage-types that the player uses. Most of these damage-types include magic, poison, and or familiar damage.

Bosses will spawn at the end of every 6th wave. Certain bosses will only appear from outside sources as well. Bosses have a large health pool and can have a large variety of attacks they cycle through.

Most of Mina's attacks consist of the wither debuff and glitter-based damage. If the player can work around those damage-types, it can make the bossfight far easier. |

The Asteria bossfight is all about player movement. Being a safe and comfortable distance away from Asteria can make the bossfight far easier to deal with. Additionally, always moving around during the fight allows you to dodge many attacks that the boss sends. |

Selene is the third boss which is fought in conjunction with Helios at the end of the Spell Forge.
Fighting Selene in the bossfight first can prove to be much easier in general as her attacks are much more lethal to the player. Selene also moves a lot slower than Helios which makes her an easier target for damage. A good thing to note is that you should get both bosses equally low during the bossfight so that one boss doesn't enrage for too long after the death of the other. |

The Art is the final boss which is fought at the end of the ???. Having a good wand build and optimal wand upgrades for the final bossfight is crucial in defeating The Art quickly. Dealing damage to the boss is much easier than other bosses as The Art is confined to the center of the arena. Do note, at 25% HP, The Art will sap the entire inventory from the player- making it so that you're wand upgrades will determine how the fight will end. |

Guard is an optional boss which is fought in the Holy Mountain whenever the player decides to steal a relic from the Offering Pedestal.
Fighting Guard can prove to be quite a challenge for some players as the confined space of the Holy Mountain makes most of their attacks dangerous. Additionally, Guard is one of the very few enemies in the game to have a polymorphing attack. |
